Viewing / Inspection Trips

Before you do anything else we strongly recommend you check out the Lake Balaton area and view a selection of properties to see if everything is to your liking. We try and make this experience as enjoyable as possible. But rest assured we keep things nice and relaxed and avoid pushy sales techniques - when you see how nice everything is in Hungary we have found that we don't need to persuade anyone - the country itself does the selling !

So what happens and what does it all cost ?
First of all check the best time for you to travel over to see us - click here for the list of airlines
Decide if you would like to spend additional time at the Lake or in Budapest at the end of the viewing trip and add these dates to your itinerary.
Just check with the office tel 01942 254867 or Mob 07973 752035 to make sure those dates are OK before booking your flights.

It is possible another family may be viewing properties at the same time but being a small family run business we try and keep things personal and be attentive to particular needs as much as possible. During the trip you will have some free time and the opportunity to speak to other families who have bought property in the area. One thing is for sure you will not be subject to time share selling tactics - we treat our visitors with respect.

The viewing trips cost just £69 per person we arrange 3 nights' accommodation in a nice B&B with full breakfast as well as 3 course dinners in nice restaurants at Lake Balaton.

Transport to and from a nearby airport - (preferably Budapest or alternatively Vienna, Zagreb or Bratislava)

Followed by accompanied inspection visits to a range of properties of your choosing.

Typical Itinerary

You can add extra night stays at the same B & B for just £30 per couple per night.

Should you wish to spend some time in the capital city of Budapest - 'The Paris of the East' we can recommend numerous hotels from budget to 5 star through to superior Health Spa resorts. A typical taxi ride costs £15 for the journey between Budapest city centre and the airport. The same train journey costs less than £1
One of the most popular hotels we use is The Andreas (see below) located on the beautiful peninsula of TIHANY on the North Shore of Lake Balaton. This is one of several establishments we use for guests keen to learn more about the beautiful area of Lake Balaton.
You book and pay for the flights - we do the rest !

Typical Itinerary:

Day 1 - Arrival at airport. - Meet in airport arrivals lounge and transfer to your hotel. - Evening Meal

Day 2 - Breakfast - Area & property visits. - Lunch - Area & property visits - Evening Meal

Day 3 - Breakfast - Visit properties for any second viewings. - Meet others who have bought property - Discuss legal and financial matters. - Evening Meal

Day 4 - Breakfast - Leisure time in morning - Return transfer to airport or Budapest hotel

Some final points ...
· Once your flights have been booked you will be sent a pre visit questionnaire - please complete and send this back - take the opportunity to let us know of any particular hobby or interest ( horse riding, fishing, health spas, wine tasting etc ) you would like to check out and a 'wish list' of your property. Please indicate any special needs / requirements eg. food allergies, sleeping preferences ( twin / double / ensuite ) etc.
· You will be sent some additional information - maps, information about Hungary etc etc - please remember to bring this with you
· Bring a digital camera and notepad as an aide memoire
